Our Story
Raileyreal was founded by sisters Railey and Anna White, born from an idea that merges comfort, science, fashion and sustainability. The brand’s mission is to provide ethically made, elevated basics with the vision to grow into more sophisticated collections.
With a career in pharmaceutical research and development, Railey was inspired to apply the same R&D mindset to her creative passion–clothes! A lifelong fascination with science sparked her desire to weave scientific principles into the clothes she wears every day. Constantly on the move between airports and major research hospitals, Railey wanted clothing that was both comfortable for travel and made with nature’s finest fibers. Shaped by her exploration of physics, including the color spectrum, atomic theory, thermodynamics, and resonance harmony, Fashion Physics™ was born.
To round out the founding team, the sisters brought in their aunt, Jenny Evans. All are graduates of UNC–Chapel Hill, where they studied Biology, Economics, and Communications respectively. With Railey’s scientific foundation, Anna’s business background, and Jenny’s experience in professional partnerships — combined with their shared love of fashion — they became the perfect team to launch Raileyreal. Their debut collection combines the energy of textiles and frequencies of colors with comfort and ethical production.
